Baby Rebecca

Rebecca Brown was born September 2nd. She weighed 8lbs. 11oz, and was 21 inches long.

Nate can't get enough of her.

Camille hasn't held her yet...but she is warming up to her.

Hot fun in the summertime

Deception Pass

The water was deceptively cold.

Flowers, Fish & Baseball

We made another trip to the Locks with some of Russ' family. These passion flowers were gorgeous.

Nate likes to kiss the baby.

The salmon were running at the Locks.

This is how Camille enjoyed the Mariners game.

Update

We visited the Ballard Locks a couple weeks ago. Love those gardens!

Russ and Nate went on their first Father/Son Campout. It poured in true northwest style, but a fun time was had by all.

The kids got new bikes at the neighborhood garage sale. Nate got a Spiderman bike...I wish I had my camera with me to capture the huge grin he wore when we found it. And we got fitted for helmets by Children's Hospital. They couldn't wait to get home to wear them.

And it's official, we have a first-grader now! We loved kindergarten, and especially Mrs. Martin!

Sugar and spice and all things nice...

Two Lips

Tulip Festival

The obligatory photo including me...to prove I really was there. (Photographer=Camille)

Nate did not want to cooperate for any pictures.

Camille on the other hand, loves to!

How much is that doggy in the window?

This past weekend we got to dog-sit. We had the service dog from Russ' office Friday through Monday morning. We think we need a dog now...

Nate could not get enough of Aria. She was such a good sport!

Camille traded beds with Nate one night so that she could sleep with the dog.

I think you can tell what Nate thought of sleeping on the top bunk.

This is my ode to Josh Brolin in Goonies.

Rain, rain, go away

The kids and I took a drive this morning to gawk at the flooding in our area. The pictures just don't do it any justice.

This is the view from my kids' window. Normally, all we see is fields.
