Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

At first we welcomed the uncharacteristically winter weather.

Oh, the weather outside is frightful

Now we're ready for the rain to return...

No, Santa did not make an early visit- the snow covered my wellies.

Merry Christmas from the Browns!

Christmas Tree

Listen to this Perry family-we drove all the way to a tree farm (15 minutes from our house) and chose a tree in probably as many minutes. Even the rain didn't bother us. I have inherited a few qualities from my mom, but being picky about a tree is not one of them.

Unfortunately, this shot does not show the beautiful green bump on Nate's forehead- his souvenir from Thanksgiving.

Camille was posing like this all night. What are they teaching her at school?!

Happy Birthday Camille!

October Photos

Trunk or Treat- I was in the fishing pond. Nate & Camille somehow both got magnifying glasses from their fishing.
The black cat who would not allow even a whisker to be painted on her face, and Tigger.

Tigger all tuckered out after a ton of sugar.

Kathryn & Myles

Another Perry girls picture.

Myles and Kathryn with their nieces and nephews.

On the steps of the Capitol Building.

Nate with aunt Tessa.

My favorite picture of the newlyweds.

Number 5

Camille was thrilled with how much money the tooth fairy left her. Usually she gets quarters, but this time, lots of coins adding up to a whopping 55 cents. Oh to be 5 in this economy... (This tooth came out as a result of falling off a chair. Notice the bruising on her bottom lip. The tooth has been hanging by a thread for some time, but unlike my mother, I let her teeth come out on their own. I have lots of fun stories about my mom pulling my teeth...like the time she was trying to pull one out and her hand slipped and bumped a different tooth out. :)

We're not in Seattle anymore...

We had Family Night at our friends' home to see their 9 day old calf.

The kids collected eggs from their hens.

Nate is our animal lover. He kept hugging their dog, too.

Gorgeous green eggs we collected!

First Day of Kindergarten

The first full day of school was September 5th. Here, the kindergarteners go 2 full days a week and every other Wednesday, which is a late start day.

This is right before the tears when we had to leave Camille. I held my tears back until I was in the car. Nate had tears for a different reason-he didn't want to leave the school! So, I guess Russ was the only one who walked away dry eyed that day.

Graduation

Through 3 moves, buying 3 homes, my husband graduating from UW and from law school, 4 pregnancies (2 children, 1 stillborn and 1 miscarriage) I finally finished what I started over a decade ago, and graduated from BYU!

Me with three of my sisters.

All five of the Perry girls.
