The first full day of school was September 5th. Here, the kindergarteners go 2 full days a week and every other Wednesday, which is a late start day.
This is right before the tears when we had to leave Camille. I held my tears back until I was in the car. Nate had tears for a different reason-he didn't want to leave the school! So, I guess Russ was the only one who walked away dry eyed that day.

Darling pic of Russ and Camille. What a big day. I love reading about all the first days of school. I remember one thing about my first day of kindergarten, and Russ was with me. I'm sure I've told you this story, but we were in Mrs. Day's class and we broke into stations. Russ and I were in the same station with maybe five kids. We were just looking at books I think when some kid told me to twist my tounge and say "apple". I did it and the other kids laughed, and I had no idea it was a bad thing to do until I asked my mother to do it when she put me to bed that night. Poor mom!
So you only have school two-three days a week? Crazy! Our pre-Kers go every day, all day!
I cried when Maddie started Kindergarten. And she was only going to be 100 yards down the hall from me. Crazy. She looked at me like I was from another planet. I had to leave before I started sobbing. And it wasn't PMS or anything! Just me typical crybaby self!
Camille looks adorable. I'm always jealous of moms who seem so adept at doing their daughter's hair. Mine won't let me touch their heads without screaming, so they just always have stringy hair in their faces.
Has Camille adjusted yet?? Hey guess what?! I'm a blogger now too! girlandboyhoenes.blogspot.com... A couple friends at work forced me into it. love you Kristin! Today was Mom's Birthday Dinner- Wish you guys could have been there to celebrate....
K, I love the two day a week idea. Only have to say goodbye twice instead of every day! My Caden was sad too, except he's still sad each day. I hope Camille is adjusting.
When did Camille get old enough to go to Kindergarten? Wow, that's awesome.
